Salem County Police Chief's Association Award Ceremony

The Salem County Police Chiefs Association awarded Salem County
Corrections Officers Perez, Hecksher, McAllister, and nurses
Woodside, Slavoff, Carrasquillo, and Deblase, for their life
saving measures by quickly identifying an inmate that went
unconscious and was not breathing. They quickly assessed that
the inmate was overdosing, and immediately applied Narcan and
saved his life. The second award was bestowed upon Lt. Crawford
and Sgt Riddle for exceptional duty by implementing policy and
procedure for the Medical Assisted Treatment program that was
initiated in January to medically treat inmates with addictions.
