County Membership

January 2023

Wardens, Directors and Undersheriffs,

The New Jersey County Jail Wardens Association membership dues are now being accepted. Attached to this correspondence is the Annual Membership Invoice for 2023. As you know membership in NJCJWA offers important networking opportunities. We need your support along with your support staff (Deputies, Chiefs, Captains, Lieutenants, Sergeants, Corporals and Assistants) to keep this essential organization strong and to continue as a significant contributor to the training, education and progress of New Jersey county jails.

We need your membership, not just for the revenue your dues provide, but for the wealth of knowledge you bring with you to our meetings and our organization as a whole. There should be no reason we can’t have 100% membership participation of our New Jersey county jail administrators and their support staff.

Starting back in 2017 was a “To be Determined” (TBD) member option for your agency. These are for staff members you may want to rotate at our monthly meetings and still be considered a subsequent member. This will allow you to have more members for your agency and not be limited to only a select few names.

**New in 2019 was an Associate Member (Family). This is available to family members of full membership to enable them to receive the benefit of educational opportunities provided by the Association. To date, the NJCJWA has an M.O.U. with Kean University providing educational discounts.**

If you have not done so already, please complete the Annual Membership Dues Invoice for 2022, set aside time to attend our meetings as frequently as possible and support our organization as we support you.

If you require any additional information please contact Deputy Warden Teechey Blango at (609) 265-3129 or email TBlango@co.burlington.nj.us.
